Two energetic engine options power your everyday adventures in the 2025 Honda CR-V. Go with the 1.5L inline four-cylinder (I4) engine with a turbocharger and enjoy 190 horsepower and a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. Opt for enhanced fuel efficiency in one of the CR-V hybrid models. Their two-motor hybrid system blends the combined potential of a 2.0L I4 gas engine with a traction motor, generator, and lithium-ion high-voltage battery. Both engine options feature an idle-stop system.
Choose your new CR-V with either a two-wheel drive (2WD) or Real-Time AWD™ (all-wheel drive) with Intelligent Control System™ system. Gas models come with a three-mode drive system — econ, normal, and snow modes. Hybrid models add sport mode. Power from the gas engine flows through a continuously variable transmission (CVT) while the hybrid gets an electronic CVT (E-CVT) with deceleration selectors.
